I was towed off the track last spring, we used the 'factory tow hook' which I've been told are actually tie down hooks. Based on their location, that makes sense.
The tow vehicle said they weren't responsible for fascia damage due to the low hook point and the stress on the fascia. I have modified my lower splash shields and was able to run the tow rope through the lower intake opening, but the fascia still had some stress on it.
I don't really care if it's ugly, as this won't be for my current TT, but a track-only car.
Thanks,
